It’s 4 in the morning and I actually have a long test in Chemistry later, but screw it—I’m going away.
Currently having hot chocolate from Cafe France while browsing tumblr/ antsily anticipating the UPCAT results. Great way to start the morning!
Will be back in Manila on Sunday. ;) Till then, I will be crying elsewhere because of my life choices.

So, after the PTC, we went to Trinoma—or rather, to the Raberly’s near the MRT station at Trinoma. After that, we got on the MRT going to Cubao and ate at the foodcourt of Gateway. We then walked to Cubao X and went to this nice air-conditioned ukay-ukay shop (I forgot the name). After going around the area some more, we got lost looking for some more shops to go to, but we ended up going to Fashion D’Lite because it was really big, but it was quite expensive compared to a lot of other thrift shops. And then we took the LRT to Katipunan, where we had tea at Moonleaf. Yes.
Shown in the above picture are things I bought during our trip today! (Except for Javert, obviously.)
1) A giant picture book (Kittens! Kittens! Kittens!) from Booksale because I really couldn’t resist getting it2) A sleeveless beige cotton and sheer blouse which can hide my fats3) A cream lace cardigan that I can put over almost anything4) A colorful poncho for the awesome weather lately5) A printed blouse with crocheted neck things6) A polka-dot salmon polyester blouse7) A sleeveless floral top with beaded accents around the neckline8) A sleeveless polka-dot top
I tried on a lot of clothes, but I wasn’t sure if I had enough money to buy them all, because that was my allowance I was spending. I’m actually quite proud of the things I bought. Though, I regret not being able to get at least one skirt, ugh.
After all that was done, I took a jeep from Katipunan to UP—which only actually stopped outside the Balara (I think that’s the road) gate, ugh. So I had to walk all the way to Ylanan and then to Commonwealth so that I could take an FX back home.
MY FEET ARE SO DEAD. I took a bath as soon as I got home (because all those smoke and dust!) and I covered my feet in petroleum jelly and then wore socks—so I’m expecting softer feet in the morning, yes.
Advice for those who want to thrift shop?
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes
Bring your own eco-bag (Especially because of the no-plastic rule in Quezon City)
Eat enough food (You need the energy for the walking and standing)
Bring water (Going around and hot stores make you sweaty; stay hydrated)
If you’re allergic to dust like me, bring a dust mask or take medicine like anti-histamines
Have friends to shop with!
Try on the clothes you want to buy (They might be at a good price, but they’re not really a good find unless it fits you)
There are some more, but I’m too tired to think. Woops.
Next time will be during the senior ban/summer, and we’ll be going to Anonas. For sure. I had loads of fun today, but for now, I am incredibly tired and sleepy.

• personal • thrift shopping • i had so much fun today but really my feet are dead idk how to walk now even
it’s been a while since i posted anything. lol. i’ve been sort of (and by sort of, i mean kinda really) busy with school and shit. soooo sorry if i’ve been inactive, but i’ve been spending my time actually doing homework and studying, so i am relatively a good student. yes. especially since i’m graduating in exactly two month from now (holy fuck) and i’m trying to make my last quarter in school sort of memorable for me, soooo yeah.
i’ve lost a few followers because of my inactivity, so thanks to all those who’ve stuck with me so far! i’ll be posting graphics/mixes again over the summer, so just wait and you’ll see me try to be koala-tee.
also, the only reason i’m up this late in the night/early in the morning (2 AM here) is because i have asthma and i just puked and now i’m using the nebulizer. fun times! i’m missing out on my school’s science fair (which is this whole week) because i’m sick, huhu.
